The rear monoshock has been tuned to offer better damping
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has recently launched their top-of-the-line offering, the Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror. This impressive motorcycle is a prominent member of the brand’s ‘Factory Custom’ lineup and comes with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.25 lakh.
The Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror boasts a distinctive appearance, featuring a special cosmetic kit that includes a chrome tank design reminiscent of the classic Jawas from the past. Its premium appeal is accentuated by the presence of diamond-cut alloy wheels. The colour scheme is exclusive, predominantly incorporating black and brushed silver shades. Customers have the option to select from a variety of attractive colours, including Jasper Red Dual Tone, Moonstone White, Mystic Copper, and Black Mirror.
Speaking on the launch of the Black Mirror, Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO, of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles said, “With the successful launch of Jawa 42 Bobber last year, we further strengthened our dominance in the Bobber segment. The Bobber stable from our factory custom portfolio has enjoyed an ardent fan following from the riding community in India. The kind of love we received for the 42 Bobber made us push our boundaries in design and engineering to deliver the all-new Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror. Bobbers embody the essence of individuality and distinctiveness; they are an emotional purchase, and the new Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror is a fine example of why Bobbers are so special. The meticulous attention to detail, combined with the unique design language, makes it a true standout.”
At the heart of the Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror lies a potent 334cc liquid-cooled engine, delivering a formidable output of 29.9bhp and a torque of 32.7Nm. This engine is paired with a responsive 6-speed transmission, featuring an assist and slipper clutch mechanism to ensure smooth and effortless gear shifts.
Notably, this motorcycle comes equipped with a 38mm throttle body, a significant increase from the previous 33mm, enhancing its performance capabilities. Moreover, the idling rpm has been thoughtfully reduced from 1,500rpm to 1,350rpm, contributing to a more refined and controlled riding experience.
The Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror has also received attention in terms of rider comfort. The rear monoshock has been meticulously tuned to provide superior damping, resulting in a noticeably more comfortable and stable ride.
