After Volvo XC40 Recharge, C40 Recharge SUV will be the second electric offering in India from the manufacturer, deliveries will start from September 2023
Volvo Car India has unveiled the C40 Recharge, its second electric SUV offering after XC40 Recharge. The new electric SUV’s price announcement and launch will happen in August and deliveries will commence from September, 2023. Volvo C40 Recharge is built from scratch as an electric vehicle.
The C40 Recharge produces 402.4bhp of power and 660Nm of torque from its twin motor combine output. The SUV can reach 0-100kmph in 4.7 seconds. Volvo C40 Recharge is equipped with 78kWh battery and all-wheel drive (AWD) as standard. It gives 530km range on a single full charge.
Volvo will become carbon neutral by 2040 and all vehicles in their portfolio will be electric, company claims. After the price announcement buyers can book the Volvo C40 Recharge online through official Volvo website.
