Toyota Motor Corporation has launched the fourth-gen luxurious MPV, the Vellfire. The Alphard and the Vellfire are on sale in Japan and will be sold worldwide in coming months. As the Vellfire is already sold in India, its fourth-gen model is expected to arrive next month for domestic sale.
The cabin of the luxurious MPV has been improved and can sit six including drive. Toyota has worked on vibration and reduced the NVH level inside the cabin. Seats offered in the Executive Lounge get ventilation with heating and cooling. Controls for ventilation and aircon are made available for all passengers.
Toyota Vellfire will be offered in two engine options. The 2.4-litre four cylinder turbo petrol with a CVT and the 2.5-litre petrol hybrid with an e-CVT.
Toyota Vellfire has no direct competition in India. It is expected to arrive next year in India, yet to be confirmed by Toyota. The price will be around Rs. 1 crore (expected ex-showroom).
