With a total of 10,759 units sold in September 2023, Nissan Motor India reported impressive wholesale numbers
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) announced robust sales figures for September 2023, with total wholesales of 10,759 units. Notably, exports contributed significantly, with 8,305 units, while domestic wholesales accounted for 2,454 units. Exports witnessed remarkable year-over-year (YOY) growth, surging by 3,494 units, resulting in an overall cumulative growth of 48% compared to the same period in FY22. This marks the highest monthly export wholesales in the last four years, building on the milestone of 1 million export units achieved in 2022.
Commenting on the development, Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said “Living on the philosophy of ‘Make in India, Make for India, Nissan has exported more than one million cars globally. Nissan has had the highest exports in the last four years with the big, bold, beautiful Nissan Magnite as the game changer for the Indian & the global markets on its strong value proposition, innovative technology, robust performance, and safety, which rightly now is also the official car of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 .”
As the official partner of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, Nissan introduced the Magnite KURO Special Edition to celebrate the partnership. The Magnite KURO stands out with its all-black exterior and interior, offering a premium and stylish statement, blending elegance with sophistication. The exterior design features an appealing all-black grille, skid plate, roof rails, black alloy wheels, headlamps with black finishers, and a distinctive badge, contributing to the KURO’s striking appeal.
The Nissan Magnite, known for its bold and beautiful design, is now exported to 15 global markets, including recent launches in Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Brunei. In recent years, Nissan Motor India has shifted its primary export focus from Europe to Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
In a move to enhance its customer reach and service quality, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. recently announced an expansion of its network in India to 276 touchpoints. This expansion includes the launch of several new showrooms and service workshops across the country. These new touchpoints extend Nissan’s presence and commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers, covering regions such as Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, with a total of 10 additional touchpoints.
