This is a unique version limited to just 10 units
The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition electric motorcycle has been introduced in India by Ultraviolette Automotive. This is an extremely special variant and is limited to 10 units only. The Space Edition is unique and more expensive than the ordinary motorcycle, costing Rs 5.6 lakh (ex-showroom). This is due to the usage of aerospace grade aluminium for some parts and body panels.
Speaking on the launch of the Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition, Narayan Subramaniam, Co-Founder and CEO, of Ultraviolette Automotive said, “We are excited to bring to you our latest creation – the F77 Space Edition and can’t wait to hand over the keys to 10 special riders. Ultraviolette aims to constantly push the boundaries of science and technology and the Space Edition is the best way to celebrate this commitment. As the aerospace industry is where the pinnacles of technology are achieved, the F77 Space Edition proudly commemorates India’s celestial journey. The very same DNA is clearly reflected in the Ultraviolette F77 Space edition. Infused with aerospace grade attributes and a distinctive design ethos, the F77 Space Edition stands as a testament to our resolute commitment in charting the course for the future of electric mobility.”
The motorcycle comes with a heavy use of aerospace-grade aluminium, which is generally used in aircrafts, spacecrafts and defence machinery. This alloy called aluminium 7075 is stronger, more flexible and more resistant to temperature changes as compared to regular aluminium.
The paint on the Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition too is from the aerospace industry. This features advanced resistance to abrasion and temperature changes, making it ideal for use in both aircrafts and the F77. To go along with the aerospace theme, the motorcycle also comes with a 9-axis IMU with readouts for roll, pitch and yaw.
Like the Limited Edition F77, the Space Edition too comes with a 40.5bhp and 100Nm electric motor. This can power the electric motorcycle to 60kmph in just 2.9s and all the way up to 153kmph. A10.3kWh battery pack gives it a range of 307km on a single charge. Priced at Rs 5.6 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the motorcycle with commence on the brand’s website on August 22 at 6pm.
