Kinetic Green has launched the E-Luna, an electric variant of their popular Luna moped, priced at Rs 69,990 (ex-showroom). Bookings for the E-Luna commenced on January 26, and the company received an overwhelming response with over 40,000 customer inquiries.
Design and Engineering
Kinetic Green proudly states that the E-Luna is entirely designed and engineered in India. It boasts a payload capacity of 150kg, making it suitable for various transportation needs.
Motor and Battery
Equipped with a 2.2kW BLDC mid-mount motor and an IP67-rated 2kWh lithium-ion battery, the E-Luna ensures efficient performance and reliability. The electric scooter features fast-charging battery technology and offers swappable battery options for added convenience.
Range and Speed
With a claimed range of 110km on a single full charge and a top speed of 50kmph, the E-Luna is tailored for urban commuting requirements. Its battery can be fully charged in four hours, minimizing downtime between rides.
Future Battery Pack Options
Kinetic Green plans to introduce additional battery pack options for the E-Luna, including 1.7kWh and 3.0kWh variants, providing customers with more choices based on their range preferences.
Chassis and Suspension
Built on a dual-tubular, high-strength steel chassis, the E-Luna ensures durability and stability during rides. It features telescopic forks at the front and rides on 16-inch wheels for enhanced performance.

The E-Luna comes equipped with a range of modern features, including a CAN-enabled communications protocol, a digital instrument panel, USB charging port, three riding modes, a detachable rear seat, and a side stand sensor, offering convenience and safety to riders.
Colour Options and Availability
The E-Luna is available in five attractive colour options: Mulberry Red, Pearl Yellow, Night Star Black, Ocean Blue, and Sparkling Green. Deliveries will commence soon across the country, and the electric scooter will also be available for purchase on popular e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
