Loaded with features the new Exter will be launched on 10th July
After teasing multiple times Hyundai Motor India has now revealed the Exter SUV in every aspect. Hyundai has announced its launch on 10th July. Inside the cabin, Hyundai Exter will come equipped with an 8-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a colour TFT MID of 4.2-inch, Hyundai Bluelink that offers over 60 connected car features for safety & security, remote services, location based services, vehicle diagnostics and voice assistance. The Exter will come with over 90 embedded voice commands that offer customers capability to compute Hinglish voice commands such as “Sunroof Kholo”, “Temperature Kam Kardo”. In other features dashcam with dual cameras, cruise control and a sunroof.
Hyundai Exter comes with Projector headlamps, H-Signature LED DRLs & diamond cut alloys. It measures 1631mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2450mm. As it will sit under Venue in the product lineup from Hyundai, the Exter will be direct competition to the Tata Punch, which has very good sale considering it is an entry level SUV. Hyundai Exter will come in 5 trim options – EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect.
The Exter is equipped with 3 powertrain options – 1.2 l Kappa petrol engine available with 5-speed manual transmission (5MT) and Smart Auto AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) and 1.2 l Bi-fuel Kappa petrol with CNG engine equipped with 5-speed Manual transmission.
