The Punch.ev is available in Standard and Long Range variants
Tata Motors’ subsidiary, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, has introduced the Tata Punch.ev, starting at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) with an introductory offer for a limited time. The top-spec variant is priced at Rs 14.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Test rides have begun, and customer deliveries are set to commence on January 22. This new addition enhances Tata Motors’ electric vehicle (EV) portfolio, joining the ranks of Tata Nexon.ev, Tata Tigor.ev, and Tata Tiago.ev.

Available in standard and Long Range variants, the Tata Punch.ev offers versatility to buyers. The standard model boasts a 60kW/114Nm motor, while the Long Range version features a powerful 90kW/190Nm motor. With battery packs of 25kWh and 35kWh, respectively, the standard model claims a range of 315km, while the Long Range model boasts an impressive 421km (MIDC). Both motor and battery pack come with an eight-year or 1,60,000km warranty.
Charging Capabilities: Quick and Convenient
Charging the Tata Punch.ev is efficient, with the standard model requiring 9.4 hours for a 10-100% charge via a 3.3kW AC home wall box charger. The Long Range version takes 13.5 hours for a similar charge. Notably, a 50kW DC fast charger can juice up the battery from 10-80% in just 56 minutes.
