The 2023 Nexon facelift retains the same engine options as its predecessor
In an exciting development for automotive enthusiasts, Tata Motors has launched the eagerly awaited 2023 Tata Nexon facelift. With an introductory starting price of Rs 8.10 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), this revamped Nexon is set to make its mark in the highly competitive subcompact SUV segment.

While the starting price of the Tata Nexon may appear marginally higher than some of its competitors, such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300, it still comes as an attractive and affordable option when compared to the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
Unchanged Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the 2023 Nexon facelift retains the same engine options as its predecessor. It offers a Revotron 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, delivering a robust 118.35bhp of power and 170Nm of torque. Additionally, it features a Revotorq 1.5-litre diesel engine, generating 113.42bhp of power and 260Nm of torque. Notably, the petrol variant now offers a 5-speed MT and a 7-speed DCA, supplementing the existing 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT options. Meanwhile, the diesel variant continues to provide the choice of a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AMT.
Striking Exterior and Interior Updates
The 2023 Nexon facelift receives significant updates both on the exterior and interior. The exterior boasts new bi-functional LED headlamps with sequential LED DRLs, redesigned bumpers, connected LED taillamps, and fresh 16-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin showcases dual-tone upholstery, a three-tone dashboard featuring a leather mid-pad, ventilated leatherette front seats with a leatherette armrest, and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo.
