In anticipation of the festive season, Honda has unveiled the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0, priced at Rs. 1.39 lakhs (ex-showroom). This updated motorcycle comes with subtle yet impactful improvements.
Aesthetic Refinements
Honda has given the bike a fresh look with new graphics that lend it a contemporary appeal and create the illusion of a more muscular fuel tank. Equipped with advanced LED technology, the Hornet 2.0 boasts a brilliant LED headlight, tail light, and turn indicators. The bike features a split-seat configuration and a distinctive key placement on the tank.
Power and Performance
Beneath its sleek exterior, the Hornet 2.0 houses a potent 184.40cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine that has been upgraded to meet OBD2 standards. The motor delivers 16.96bhp at 8500rpm and a torque of 15.9Nm at 6000rpm. Complementing this engine is a 5-speed gearbox, now enhanced with an improved assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear changes.
Solid Structural Foundation
The 2023 Hornet 2.0 retains its sturdy diamond frame, supported by a USD front fork and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring robust suspension for various road conditions. Its 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels are shod with tubeless tires, guaranteeing reliable traction. The braking system consists of a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, backed by a single-channel ABS for added safety.
Illuminating the Way
A notable feature of the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 is its comprehensive LED lighting system, comprising a sharp LED headlamp, LED winkers, and a distinctive X-shaped LED taillamp. The motorcycle also boasts a fully digital liquid-crystal instrument panel, providing essential ride information at a glance. Its split seat design and compact muffler contribute to its sporty aesthetics.

The 2023 Hornet 2.0 offers riders a selection of four stylish color options: Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
Extended Peace of Mind
For added confidence, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) offers a 10-year warranty package for the 2023 Hornet 2.0, consisting of a three-year standard warranty with the option to extend it for an additional seven years.
