The X440 made-for-India motorcycle by Harley-Davidson in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Harley-Davidson X440 will be manufactured at Hero MotoCorp’s Neemrana factory.
Harley-Davidson X440 comes equipped with a 440cc, single cylinder, 2-valve oil cooled engine. The motor mated to a 6-speed transmission produces 27bhp of power and 38Nm of torque. It comes with an 18-inch wheel at the front and 17-inch rear wheel. In the braking department a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc does the job. Dual-channel ABS also adds to the safety.
The motorcycle comes with a full LED setup. It has a signature LED DRL gel with LED projector headlamp. Indicators and taillamps all are LED units. A 3.5-inch instrument cluster has TFT digital display and is bluetooth enabled, gives turn-by-turn navigation, call alert etc.
