Mercedes-Benz India has launched the 7th-gen AMG SL 55 4Matic+ roadster in India. The luxurious classic soft top roadster features a petrol V8 engine with twin turbochargers which generates 469.35bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. The Mercedes-AMG SL 55 roadster has a top speed of 295kmph. The price of the open top beauty starts from Rs. 2.35 crore onwards (ex-showroom pan India).

An 11.9-inch vertically oriented touchscreen and can be adjusted to viewing angles suited to the driver. The driver also gets a 12.3-inch display and a HUD behind the twin-spoke AMG steering wheel. Customers can choose from five upholstery and two interior trim options.
The AMG SL 55 roadster measures 4,705mm in length, 1,915mm in width and 1,359mm in height. Wheelbase is 2,700mm. All measurements are increased from its predecessor. Large panamericana front grille, a long bonnet, angular LED headlight gives it an aggressive look. The 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, adjustable spoiler, quad exhausts and fabric roof are some other features.
