The Toyota Rumion will be manufactured by Maruti Suzuki and supplied to Toyota
Toyota Kirloskar Motors has revealed India-spec Rumion MPV, which is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. This collaboration between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki has led to the introduction of the Rumion as the fourth badge-engineered model resulting from their partnership.

Model and Collaboration
The Toyota Rumion MPV is a product of the partnership between Toyota Kirloskar Motors and Maruti Suzuki. It is based on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and shares many of its features and specifications.
Exterior
The Rumion features a distinct exterior design with new bumpers featuring chrome accents, a new grille, and new dual-tone alloy wheels. These changes help differentiate it from the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
Interior
The cabin layout of the Rumion is similar to the Ertiga, but it boasts a blacked-out color scheme with faux-wood inserts. The upholstery is beige, similar to the Ertiga.
Features
The features offered in the Rumion are identical to those found in the Ertiga. These include automatic climate control, roof-mounted air conditioning vents, 7 seats with folding capability, and smartphone connectivity. Safety features encompass four airbags, hill hold assist, electronic stability control (ESP), ABS with EBD and brake assist, and ISOFIX mounts. The infotainment system features a 7-inch display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Powertrain
The Toyota Rumion is powered by the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine found in the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. This engine produces 103bhp and 137Nm of torque. It comes with a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Additionally, a CNG variant is offered, producing 88bhp and 121.5Nm of torque in CNG mode.
Variants
The Rumion will be available in multiple variants, including S manual/auto, G manual, V manual/auto, and S manual CNG variants. Specific prices for these variants will be disclosed at a later date.
