KTM Launches Exciting New Models in India – 2024 KTM 390 Duke and KTM 250 Duke

In a thrilling development for motorcycle enthusiasts, KTM has unveiled its latest offerings for the Indian market – the 2024 KTM 390 Duke and the 2024 KTM 250 Duke. With bookings now open for a token amount of Rs 4,499, these third-generation models are poised to set new benchmarks in the world of two-wheelers.

Pricing and Engine Upgrades

The 2024 KTM 390 Duke, priced at Rs 3,10,520 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), boasts a revamped 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, producing an impressive 44bhp and 39Nm of torque. This powerhouse is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch and quick-shifter for seamless gear changes.

The 2024 KTM 250 Duke, on the other hand, comes at an attractive price point of Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and features a 249cc engine delivering 30.8bhp and 24Nm of torque, offering an enhanced power-to-weight ratio compared to its previous iteration.

Design Evolution

Both bikes exhibit a design transformation that includes new LED headlamps with eye-catching boomerang-inspired daytime running lights (DRLs). The fuel tank shrouds have been enlarged, projecting a more aggressive stance, while the motorcycles themselves appear more substantial and sport a split-seat configuration.

Advanced Features and Rider Aids

In terms of technology, these bikes are packed with electronic rider aids, featuring three ride modes – Street, Rain, and Track. Notably, the 2024 KTM Duke 390 offers launch control for the first time. Standard features include a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity for calls and music control.

Enhanced Suspension and Braking

The KTM 390 Duke incorporates a new steel trellis frame with a pressure die-cast aluminum subframe, a 43mm upside-down front fork, and an offset rear monoshock suspension setup. It features a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc for braking, along with a comprehensive suite of ABS options, including Dual-channel, Cornering, and Supermoto modes. The motorcycles ride on 17-inch alloy wheels equipped with Michelin tires.

Colour Options

Enthusiasts can choose from two enticing colour options for the 2024 KTM Duke 390 – Electronic Orange Metallic and Atlantic Blue. Meanwhile, the 2024 KTM 250 Duke offers Electronic Orange and Ceramic White as its colour choices.

The third-generation KTM 390 Duke comes loaded with exciting additions, including adjustable WP APEX suspension, MTC with ride modes, cornering ABS, and Supermoto ABS. It also boasts a track screen, launch control, quickshifter+, ride-by-wire, slipper clutch, and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity featuring turn-by-turn navigation. Riders have the option of an 800mm seat height with an available 820mm seat.

The bike offers an 800mm seat height with an optional 820mm seat, ensuring a comfortable riding experience.
