Honda Elevate’s bookings will be open in July and company targets festive season to launch it’s all new SUV
Honda Cars India unveiled Honda’s latest global SUV – Honda Elevate at a world premiere event in India. It will be launched during festive season this year and India will be the first country to manufacture and sell the all new Elevate worldwide. All New Elevate has been developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific centre located in Thailand.
The Elevate is a mid-size SUV that features a bold and masculine exterior design with Honda’s signature grille, flanked by sleek LED headlights makes striking front face, and the rear boasts a distinctive tailgate design and LED taillights. Together with the dual LED taillights and Two-tone finish diamond cut R17 Alloy Wheels provide a distinct, modern and sporty characteristic to the SUV. Electric sunroof is a nice touch.

The expected price of the Honda Elevate in India is 10 lakh to 20 lakh. Mid size SUV segment is full of competition. So Honda Elevate will take on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Celts, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Nissan Kicks, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun.

Honda Elevate dimension in length 4312mm, width 1790mm and height 1650mm makes it mid size SUV. It will come with an impressive ground clearance of 220mm and decent 2650mm of wheelbase size. Boot space is 458L, which also is spacious.
Honda Elevate uses a 7-inch high-definition full color TFT multi-information that displays the information such as fuel consumption, trip meter, outside temperature, G-meter and a clock on a large display screen. It also allows the driver to customize the operations, such as the meter set up, keyless access, lighting set up, door, and Honda Sensing.
The Elevate comes fitted with 10.25-inch IPS HD resolution LCD touchscreen infotainment system that can be connected via Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Weblink, Bluetooth and USB. Other features can be accessed are Assistant Side View Monitor, Assistant Rear View Monitor, Clock, Calendar, Compass, Customisable Picture.
Honda Elevate gets a 1.5-Litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine which gives 119.3bhp of power and 145Nm torque at 6600rpm. There will be two transmission options which include 6 speed MT and 7-speed CVT.
