BMW India has introduced its latest offerings with the launch of the BMW i7 M70 xDrive and the diesel variant of the all-new BMW 7 Series, the 740d M Sport. The BMW 740d M Sport is produced locally at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai, while the all-electric BMW i7 M70 xDrive is available as a completely built-up unit (CBU). These models are now available at all BMW India dealerships.

Exterior Design Features
The new BMW 7 Series boasts a distinctive exterior design. The headlights are divided into two parts, with the top featuring the BMW Crystal Headlights with Swarovski crystals for an impressive shimmering effect. The BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille surround adds to its unmistakable appearance.
The first-ever BMW i7 M70 xDrive, as the range-topping model, features M-specific design elements, including the M logo on the kidney grille. It also comes with M side skirts, M logos on the front side panels, M High-gloss Shadowline trim, and more. The car sits on 21-inch M light-alloy wheels with an aerodynamically optimized design.
Innovative Interior Features
Inside, the BMW 7 Series introduces the innovative BMW Interaction Bar, which allows passengers to adjust ambient lighting, air conditioning, and appearance with a touch-enabled bar. The rear offers a unique comfort experience with features like the Rear Seat Entertainment Experience with a 31.3-inch touch screen and the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System.
The BMW i7 M70 xDrive comes with Carbon Fibre M interior trim with silver stitching/Piano Finish Black, adding to the cabin’s premium experience. It also features M-specific equipment details to accentuate its sporting flair.
Multifunctional Comfort and My Modes
The Executive Lounge Seating in the rear passenger area offers a first-class experience with multifunction seats, massage function, active seat ventilation, and a rear console. My Modes allow customisation of sound, light, temperature, suspension settings, and seat functions to create a specific mood, with options like My Mode Relax, My Mode Theatre, and My Mode Expressive.
Performance
The BMW 740d M Sport is powered by a three-litre six-cylinder diesel engine, producing 282bhp and 650Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 6.0 seconds.
The BMW i7 M70 xDrive features an M-specific drive system and accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.7 seconds. It produces 650.97bhp and 1100Nm of torque, with a range of up to 560 kilometres (WLTP). The car comes with a complimentary BMW Wallbox charger for convenient at-home charging.
Cutting-Edge Technology
The BMW i7 M70 xDrive features the latest generation of BMW iDrive with “QuickSelect” and BMW Operating System 8.5, offering enhanced display and operating capabilities. BMW ConnectedDrive technology includes features like BMW ID, MyBMW App, Digital Key Plus, Emergency Call, Real-time Traffic Information, Remote Services, smartphone parking, and Amazon Fire TV.
Driver Assistance and Safety
The models include a range of Driver Assistance Systems, such as Cruise Control, Attentiveness Assistant, Parking Assistant Professional, Integral Active Steering, and more. Safety features comprise six airbags, Dynamic Stability Control, ISOFIX child seat mounting, and more.
Warranty and Financial Services
Both the BMW i7 M70 xDrive and the BMW 740d M Sport come with a standard two-year warranty for unlimited kilometres. Additionally, customers can extend their warranty through Repair Inclusive, which can cover the third to the fifth year without any mileage limitation. The high-voltage battery in the BMW i7 M70 xDrive is backed by a warranty valid for eight years or up to 160,000 kilometres.
